[One Year Full-Time Intensive Bible Teaching
Programme]
Introduction
Current movings of the Holy
Ghost are touching people of every age and background, creating in
them a deep desire to study the Word of God. The Holy Ghost is
placing many individuals in ministry who have never previously
considered themselves candidates. Kairos Bible College offers a
God-ordained programme of:
1. Concentrated courses of
study.
2. High quality surroundings
for inspiration and deepening of the students' personal relationship
with God.
3. Character
development.
4. Counselling opportunity
with experienced ministries prviding guidance so that the call of
God might be fulfilled in the student's life, and to assist them in
their growth to maturity.
5. A thorough foundation in
the truths of the Bible, the training of Christians to do the work
of the ministry, is needed in Brisbane and other areas as teachers,
evangelists, pastors and elders.
6. Kairos Bible College is
operated by Dr A.J. Lowe.
7. Each enrolled student will
be directed back to the local church where he/she was
domiciled.
8. Kairos Bible College seeks
to strengthen the local church - NOT diminish it! End of year
reports are furnished and made available to the student's home
pastor so that progress can be monitored.
9. 2003 enrollments will be
limited to fifty students.
10. Special privileges are
afforded post graduate students. These include access to the College
research library, attendance at reunions, photocopying and the
purchase of materials from the bookshop at a permanently reduced
rate.
11. A handbook will be
supplied to each student in the orientation session. This informs
every person of regulations and required duties throughout the
College year.
12. Where possible,
assistance will be afforded the student in consultation with his/her
home church pastor in order that the call of God might be realized
on the individual's life.
13. Training is offered to
persons of all ages and backgrounds and no distinction is made
between students preparing for full-time ministry and those seeking
to develop their indi- vidual relationship with God.
Solomon declared, "To
all [there is] an appointed time, even a time for every purpose
under the heavens." Ecclesiastes 3:1
[Literal]
Timing, therefore, is the key
to everything.
1 Peter
1:12 God longs that every Christian be
established in the PRESENT truth.
We are on the threshold of a
major shift in Christianity. We will be propelled into Phase 3, the
outworking of which will demonstrate the greatest days of church
history. These days lie immediately before us.
In modern Bible Schools,
again and again, the heart of present truth is ignored (either
intentionally or unwittingly), rejected and despised. Examine
curriculum after curriculum after curriculum and you will observe
these teachings omitted. They have been supplanted by computer
lessons, psychology, secular counselling techniques, management
strategies, etc. Surely the major function of a Bible College is to
impart Biblical knowledge. All Biblical truth is important and
should be communicated. But present truth should NOT be rejected. To
reject knowledge is to incur the rejection of God. Hosea
4:6 My people are cut off for lack of knowledge. Because
you rejected the knowledge, I also rejected you from being priest to
Me. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I will forget your
sons, even I. [KJV: My people are destroyed for
lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also
reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast
forgotten the law of thy God. I will also forget thy
children.]
The Lord Jesus explained, "It
was right to do these things, but not to leave aside those."
Luke 11:42 [KJV: these ought ye to have done, and
not to leave the other undone. We must come back to the Bible.
Kairos Bible College
identifies these teachings and majors them. In many cases they are
foundational teachings mandatory for a correct understanding of the
Word of the Lord. A great maxim of British law declares, "One cannot
correctly understand any section of the law unless the overall law
is correctly understood." The Lord Jesus Christ enforced that man
was not to live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from
the mouth of God. How is this possible when the major section of the
Bible is discarded?
Therefore, in constructing
the current curriculum, present truth is not only considered, it
forms the heart of the College's teaching. Subjects include a
detailed examination of Eschatology, The Creative and Redemptive
Weeks, The Tabernacle of Moses, The Tabernacle of David, The Temple
of Solomon, Types and Symbols, the Feasts of the Lord, the
Priesthood, The Priest's Garments and the Book of Hebrews.
When a Jewish boy was being
prepared for priesthood, he was required to recite the Torah by age
5. (This is Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.) By
age 30 he was expacted to know the Prophets and the T'nai (Greek -
Hagiographa: English - Sacred Writings). Think of it! By the time he
was inducted into his calling he was a walking Bible! By stark
contrast, consider the average Christian's approach to the New
Testament. If we learn one verse a year its's a miracle. And we say
we love the Word of God!
Nothing else matters in this
life but the hiding of the Bible in the human heart. Here is the
more sure word of prophecy. This word is not to be juged. It judges
all who turn its sacred pages.
Here, in 2003, an opportunity
presents itself to develop an understanding of the Holy Bible. I
stand amazed when people swear and take oaths holding the king of
books in their hands - yet they know nothing of its
contents.
At Kairos, the Bible is not
treated as a common book, but is, as its Creator intended, the
Christian's Manual, the living word of the living God.
I look forward to receiving
your application form and pray that 2003, the year that you have set
aside to "SEARCH the Scriptures," will become the most priofitable
ever in your quest in developing a personal relationship with
God

Statement of
Faith
1. The Scriptures of both Old
and New Testaments are the infallible Word of God, are inspired by
the Holy Spirit, and contain the doctrinal belief of the is Bible
College.
2. There is one God,
eternally existent in three Persons: God, the Father; God, the Son;
and God, the Holy Ghost.
3. Jesus Christ was and is
the son of God.
4. The Lord Jesus' virgin
birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning
death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of
God the Father and His personal return to this earth in power and
glory.
5. All have sinned and the
only means of being cleansed from sin is through the blood of
Christ.
6. Man is justified by faith
in Jesus Christ; apart from works.
7. Regeneration by the Holy
Ghost is essential for salvation.
8. The redemptive work of
Christ provides healing for the for the whole;e man - spirit, soul
and body.
9. A person baptized in the
Holy Ghost will speak in new tongues.
10. The present ministry of
the Holy Ghost, by Whose in dwelling presence the believer is
enabled to live a godly life which manifests the fruit of the
Spirit.
11. The gifts of the Holy
Ghost, as enumerated in 1 Corinthians 12 - 14
should be practiced in the Church today.
12. Water baptism by
immersion.
13. The reality and
personality of the Christian's enemy, Satan.
14. The remembrance of the
Lord's death in the ordinance of the Lord's Supper. His blood
purchased salvation for the believer. His broken body purchased
healing.
15. The resurrection of the
dead: both the saved and the lost; the saved to everlasting life in
heaven, the lost to everlasting damnation in hell.
16. The Church, composed of
believers who worship and cooperate together, has been instituted by
God for the spiritual edification of each individual member as a wit
ness to the world and as his habitation among men.
17. God has instituted in His
church a variety of ministries for the purpose of propagating the
gospel and the edification of the believers.
Aims and
Objectives
The major objective of Kairos
Bible College is to teach the Word of God, develop the individual's
personal relationship with God and enhance relationships with other
students.
The teaching of the
Scriptures will be executed by highly qualified lecturers.
Encouragement will be given the student to develop his/her own field
of personal study by researching a comprehensive range of resource
materials. Opportunity for personal and corporate prayer will
develop the student's personal relationship with God.
To promote continuity of
church life while attending College, attendance at a local mid-week
meeting is required. Church attendance on the weekends is also
required.
Because of the importance of
music in Christian worship, a morning devotional has been planned
for half-an-hour prior to the morning teaching sessions.
Preaching ability is of prime
importance at the College and the curriculum has been developed to
accommodate practical expression of researched material.
A comprehensive,
well-balanced, all-rounded Christian leadership programme has been
compiled.
Here is an opportunity to
attend a high quality Bible College.
Every Christian needs a
thorough and sold grounding in the Word of God, irrespective of
whether or not he/she has been called into full-time ministry. It is
necessary that every part of the Body of Christ, coordinate the
moving of the Holy Ghost with the Word of God. The Holy Ghost always
agrees with the Word of God. He wrote it! The Word and the Spirit
are one.
A clear understanding of the
overall Word of God is the Christian's defence against the deceiving
doctrines and delusions of Satan in these last days.
The aims and
objectives, therefore, of Kairos Bible College is to teach, train
and equip men and women of God as admonished in the Scriptures, "the
things that thou hast heard, the same commit thou to faithful men,
who shall be able to teach others also."

Foreign Student
Information
If you intend to enroll in a
course of study in Australia, there are a number of important
matters that will require your attention before you leave your home
country. These preparations may take more time than you anticipate,
so you should start to make your plans well in advance of the
academic year during which you intend to study in
Australia.
Australia's immigration law
regulates the movement of all people into the country. This includes
those who wish to enter for both short and long term courses of
study, requiring them to document their student status and receive
approval at an Australian Government Office outside Australia BEFORE
THEY CAN BE ADMITTED INTO THE COUNTRY.
After you have been accepted
for a course of study, you should apply for a Student Authorization
and visa at the nearest Australian Government Office in the country
where you live. (With our letter of acceptance, we will also issue
you with a letter, with the address of the nearest Australian
Government Office, and their telephone number, to facilitate the
securing of the authorization and visa.)
You must present to the
Australian Government Office:
· Evidence of your acceptance
by an Australian university, college or other
institution;
· Evidence of your good
character and if applicable, a letter from your sponsoring
organization;
· Evidence of adequate funds
to live and study in Australia, including return transportation;
and
· on some countries a
certificate of medical clearance may also be required.
Financial
Clearance for Non-Australian Entry Into
Australia:
Before a Student
Authorization will be granted, you must be able to prove to the
satisfaction of Australian officials that you have enough money to
pay all necessary expenses in Australia - such as tuition, living
expenses and your return trip home, as well as the expenses of an
accompanying spouse or children - whether your studies last one year
or longer.
As a student in Australia,
you won't normally be allowed to work unless on-the-job training is
a part of your course of study. Nor is there any guarantee that your
accompanying spouse will be able to obtain authorization to work.
Therefore, anticipated part-time earnings, or wages of your spouse,
will not be considered in estimating the funds needed for you to
stay in Australia.
Your
Student Authorization:
Upon your arrival in
Australia, immigration officers at the port of entry will ask to see
the Student Authorization and the visa you received at the
Australian Government Office abroad, plus the documents you needed
to obtain them. If you do not have all the necessary documentation
you could be refused entry into Australia.
IN ORDER TO
STUDY IN AUSTRALIA YOU MUST OBTAIN A STUDENTAUTHORIZATION AND A VISA
BEFORE LEAVING YOUR OWN COUNTRY.
