Admission Requirements Qualifications For Graduation Application Forms Future Confidential Report

Admission Requirements Admission to Kairos Bible College is granted to applicants meeting admission requirements, irrespective of race, colour or national origin. Selection is made according to the following criteria. 1. All applicants must give evidence of sound moral charac- ter and have a vital experience of salvation through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Student who have not received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost will be encouraged to receive this experience. 2. Be a minimum age of 18 years; [Exceptions may be considered by the College faculty.] 3. Have been a Christian for not less than 12 months at the time of application; [Exceptions may be considered by the College faculty.] 4. Submit in good spirit to the discipline and leadership of the College. 5. The applicant's character must be considerate to others, obedient to authority, willing to work and willing to be taught. Habits inconsistent with Christian testimony will not be tolerated. 6. Agreement to abide by the College rules: [a] Smoking is not permitted. [b] No student is to absent himself/herself from the College programme except by permission of the Chancellor, Faculty or Counsellor. [c] Personal relationships of a romantic or emotional nature are not permitted during the first three months of College. [d] Pets are not allowed. [e] The student is required to attend classes, functions and outreaches [Curricular and extra-curricular], as directed by the Chancellor. [f] The Chancellor shall interpret and apply the above rules at his discretion.  Qualifications For Graduation The Bible teaches that God REWARDS man according to his WORKS. The reward of graduation will only be bestowed upon the student who meets the following qualifications: 1. Attend all lectures. 2. Execute assigned duties in good spirit. 3. Demonstrate the ability to research, organize and develop material for presentation in either a preaching or teaching situation. 4. Lead the morning devotional prayer and praise meeting. 5. Participate in testimony and message delivery before the student body. 6. Attend local church services on a regular basis. 7. Demonstrate Christian life and character during the Col- lege year - developing the fruit of the Spirit. 8. Submit in good spirit to the College faculty. 9. Attend the graduation ceremony and receive the certifi- cate. 10. Attend the graduation banquet. 11. Adhere to the enclosed Statement of Faith. 12. Demonstrate a good attitude in ministering to and receiv- ing from his fellow students. 13. Submit to the course lecturers in good spirit and exhibit a willingness to receive individual instruction and correc- tion. 14. Participate in the Scripture memorization programme. 15. Execute personal study requirements. 16. Sit the prescribed end of term examinations. All students are expected to perform at basic satisfactory or better on all tests. The requirement is on three levels: [a] Excellent 90% or better [b] Satisfactory 70% - 90% [c] Unsatisfactory Less than 70% All students will receive end of term reports of their progress. Any student with a maximum of three unsatis- factory marks for any term will be subject to a one term probation. If the student's performance does not im- prove, after one full term, he/she will be subject to dis- missal at the discretion of the faculty. 17. Conduct: [a] Be of good report with fellow students, lecturers and faculty: [b] Cause no division in the body: and [c] Be modestly attired. 18. A 300-500 word paper of your personal testimomy is also required. The Bible College office will contact you in due course, advising the result of your application and where applicable will arrange an appointment for an interview with the College Chancellor.
